Time to Improve your Skills

Time to Improve your Skills

This has been another challenging year, cost of living, war in Ukraine and economic uncertainty has left a lot of of people unsure of their working futures.  However, there’s no time like the present to dust yourself off and think of what you CAN achieve going forward. If you are keen to come out the other side as strongly as possible, you should consider what training and upskilling can do for your career prospects.

No matter your expertise or experience, you will find that training makes a massive difference. Of course, not everyone requires training in the same things. This is why it is vital you review what is right for you, and make a decision based on your needs, and what you want to achieve with your career.

Embracing Black History and Training

At GSS, October’s Black History Month is a time for us to honor the countless contributions of UK BAME’s (Black, Asian, Minority Ethnics)  while reaffirming our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

This month, we are proud to offer training and career development opportunities that highlight iconic figures and milestones in Black history. Our programs aim to foster perspective on the ongoing struggle for equality and the achievements of pioneers who paved the way.

Diversity strengthens our workforce and our nation and we are focused on providing an engaging way for staff to gain insights into the adversity and triumphs that’s shaped our shared history.

GSS provides ongoing career coaching and mentoring with a commitment to helping all our employees, regardless of background, unlock their full potential. Because advancement in the workplace is integral to the continuing fight for justice and opportunity.

We hope you’ll join us this month as we celebrate the heroes of the past, while equipping today’s professionals with the knowledge and skills to succeed. Let’s build a more inclusive future, together.
