A co-Director at GSS, Sonia began her career in the recruitment industry working within International and Project driven markets. Having successfully won and executed some major contracts in the International Private Medical industries Sonia then set up business in 2006 with business partner Richard.
Having been instrumental in developing successful central and local Government contracts, GSS has grown to be one of the largest suppliers of the National Career service delivering Career services to 1000’s of individuals yearly and changing lives through progression, empowerment and motivating people to achieve.
Prior to launching Global Solution Services (GSS) in 2006 Richards successful career spanning over 20 Years in recruitment across Tech, Online and Medical has won many awards and latterly progressed in to various Directorships including the management of a £100+ million medical recruitment business, successful development to maximise trade sale values of two smaller tech and medical recruitment businesses on behalf of private owners.
GSS quickly established itself as a Careers, Information and Guidance professionals contracted by the DWP and supporting over 10,000 Professionals and Executives in a 2 year period and has subsequently grown to provide support to approximately 7,500 customers per year with Careers Advice and about 1,000 learners through non-accredited and accredited training with over 3,500 customers progressing in their careers every year.
Emma’s experience in Careers & Employment Support Services includes operational and management roles for major providers within the private sector, as well as working internationally, and also within public sector organisations.
Emma leads on new business and is always open to opportunities for GSS to utilise our collective expertise and talents, by working with new partner organisations and committing to new projects, in order that GSS has a lasting impact on as many customers as possible, progressing their skills and qualifications, and successfully supporting them into work.
